Blogging with Exceptional Children

As a future educator in a special education classroom I have been doing some thinking on why and how I feel blogging is important to integrate in my classroom. Blogging is a different way to let the children express themselves without actually having to "express" themselves! In most instances the traditional Special Education Classroom is set in one or two classrooms all day, this is why I feel blogging would be easier to use. I would ask my students to write a total of 4 post a month, which is one post a week, in which they will explain the pros and cons in their lives. The object of these blogs would be to evaluate how my students feel about school, and if there are certain things that I should change within my classroom. In the end, these blogs will help my students mentally by giving them a place to vent, and being able to evaluate the difference between my students!!

My first Blog!

My first Blog.....First off let me just say I'm glad I finally learned how to post! My first time blogging was horrible, nothing came out the way I expected it to do. Even though I finally figured out how to post, I am still completely lost! Eventually I'll figure it out in due time! The purpose of my blog is to share, with whom ever decides to visit, the lessons, views, ideas and perspectives on what I have learned throughout my life. Although I may be of a somewhat young age, that does not mean I do not know anything about life. In fact, I know quite a bit and have quite a few opinions to share because of it. No, I am not saying I am the master genius of life, and that I know absolutely everything, I am just saying that I feel there are things that I am familiar with that I feel are necessary to share.
